Welcome to Year 2
Welcome to Year 2 with Miss Taylor and Mrs Slater-Davison! Being in Upper KS1 is an exciting and important time as the children are the oldest in the infants and so have a responsibility to show the younger children how to behave and enjoy school life. Following on from Year 1, we use a very creative and fun curriculum to help the children develop and improve their skills in all areas of learning. We enjoy having our own bank of laptops in the classroom and access to the Foundation garden where we can take our learning outdoors. Learning to 'have a go' and trying our best is crucial to Yeat 2 and we explore ways to improve our confidence and self-esteem, to make ourselves the best learners that we can be. Keep an eye on this page to see what exciting activities we have been getting up to!

Year 1 Making bridges.
Year 1 had a great time in the art studio designing and making bridges to help the Billy Goats Gruff.
