We are thrilled to have Kaye McGuire back with us following her second operation. We have all missed Kaye and her infectious enthusiasm! She sends her heartfelt thanks for the Gift card and get well wishes.
You will be pleased to know your children are in good hands! The Cumberpatch and Teachers teams came 1st and 2nd respectively at last Friday’s annual PTA brain testing event! This was a relief to me I can tell you! A lot of fun as always and a huge thanks to the PTA team for feeding us all so well! The support for our PTA events is fantastic and all funds raised are for the children - we think a mighty £700 was raised last Friday!
Your children may have told you about an assembly led by the NSPCC just a few weeks ago. One of the themes shared with the children was the notion of personal safety and self-protection. Our children are encouraged to remember the “underwear rule”. Any part of our bodies covered by underwear is private – the NSPCC have a super website, just type in Pantosaurus (their friendly dinosaur) for some really useful advice for parents.
This week we are reminding the children about how to keep themselves safe online as part of our anti-bullying work - check the school website for your more information.
There I’ve said it!
