Year 3/4 Athletics Final
Well done to our Year 3 and 4 children who were involved in the athletics competition at Joseph Whitaker. Abbey Gates made it through to the final and we are so proud of how well they did!
Digestive system t-shirts and edible poo making!
The Year 4's really enjoyed designing their digestice system t-shirts and wearing them during the school day. We also made edible poos with choclate, biscuits, raisins and syrup and then even got to taste it- YUCK!
Creswell Crags - Stone Age
Year 3 went to Creswell Crags today and travelled back in time to the Stone Age. Whilst there the children had the opportunity to experience what it would have been like living in a cave - with absolutely none of the 'mod cons' or home comforts that they have today....
The Year 5 children realy enjoyed designing and creating the tallest tower. They worked in teams to build the tower that was stable and durable. They learned so much from the project and were extremely reflective in their evaluations.
