Once again, Year 5 showed excellent working scientifically skills and cooperation when undertaking today’s investigation of ‘Which type of sugar dissolves the fastest?’

Fabulous fire engines
Year 2 have worked incredibly hard over the past few weeks to create their fabulous fire engines. They thought carefully about the design, made sure they included wheels, an axle, axle holders and a moving ladder with a pivot. We are looking forward to racing them this week!
The speed of dissolving
Year 5 used their working scientifcially skills to devise and carry out an investigation into what affects the speed of dissolving. The children had to decided which variable to change in order to ensure that it was a fair test. The investigations inlcuded: the mass of sugar, the speed of stirring,...
Class Two had a virtual synagogue visit today, with Norman from Nottingham Liberal Synagogue. The children asked some super questions and were excited to learn about the synagogue through pictures and artefacts.
The Hanging Gardens of Class 2
As part of our Science topic, we have been growing plants in Class 2. We collected plastic bottles and planted them with a variety of seeds which we have hung from our balcony area to create our own recycled planters. Hopefully our seeds will blossom into a fabulous hanging garden soon!
Puppets (Year 1)
Year 1 have been getting super creative this half term. Following on from our lighthouses, the chidlren designed and made their own puppets of characters from The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch. The children experimented with different joining methods and decided which method they prefered. The final products look amazing! Great job...
Year 1’s Lighthouses
This half term we have been reading The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch. The children have worked really hard to design and build their own lighthouses. We think they look absolutely fabulous! Well done Year 1!
Bikeability Level 3
Well done to our 12 super cyclists who have completed their Level 3 Bikeability training. They have developed their skills for cycling on complex, busy roads and showed the core functions for safe and responsible cycling.
