Batik meets Rocket Art
Year 5 brought their ‘Spectacular Space’ topic to a close this morning by combining their Design and Technology skills and their Art skills, by using the Batik method to create ‘Rocket Art’, inspired by Peter Thorpe.

How much salt?
This afternoon, year 5 were set a challenge by the Chief Alchemist to see how much salt cold and hot water could dissolve before a saturated solution was created. The children remembered how to create a fair test and once again showed great teamwork.
