Welcome to Year 2
Welcome to Year 2 with Miss Taylor and Mrs Slater-Davison! Being in Upper KS1 is an exciting and important time as the children are the oldest in the infants and so have a responsibility to show the younger children how to behave and enjoy school life. Following on from Year 1, we use a very creative and fun curriculum to help the children develop and improve their skills in all areas of learning. Learning to 'have a go' and trying our best is crucial to Year 2 and we explore ways to improve our confidence and self-esteem, to make ourselves the best learners that we can be (whilst having lots of fun along the way!). Keep an eye on this page to see what exciting activities we have been getting up to!
