Welcome to Year 5!
In Upper Key Stage 2, the children are now preparing themselves to be role models for the younger children. We have a ‘can-do’ attitude towards our work and learning.
In Year 5, we love to learn. Our teacher and teaching assistant ensure that our learning is fun, but focussed on helping us to be the best we can be!
In Autumn 1 our question is ‘Is there anything out there?’
Regular reading at home and school will be encouraged - after all reading is the foundation for all other learning to take place from. We will also have an emphasis on learning times tables and the spelling of key words.
Mr Summers, Mr Martin and the children promise to work hard so that we are able to be the best we can be!
