D&T: Levers
Year 4 on February 7th 2020
This half-term in Design and Technology, Year 3 have been learning about Simple Machines. The six types of Simple Machines are: pulleys, levers, wheels and axles, inclined planes, wedges and screws.
As part of the Year 3 Design and Technology curricululm, the children have to show that they can: follow a step-by-step plan, choosing the right equipment and materials, select the most appropriate tools and techniques for a given task and work accurately to measure, make cuts and make holes. In order to deomstrate this the children made levers to make a waving hand.
