Year 6 on November 23rd 2018
Year 6 used their knowledge of electricity and circuits to make their own working lighthouses in Science and DT. They created their models from paper mache before adding a working electrical circuit, which was controlled by a switch. Some children added a back-up in case their bulb failed, including a buzzer to send out a warning sound or a motor to move a propellor. The children enjoyed sharing their models in assembly.
