Year 6 on July 21st 2021
With the Tokyo Olympics 2020 (2021) soon to commence, Year 5 have created their own Olympic Pictograms, as part of their Geography and Art work.
Olympic Pictograms are bold and dynamic images which capture the energy and colour of the Games. They are a vital way-finder for spectators at the Games. Recognisable to everyone. Olympic Pictograms are the language of images.
On Monday, the children first applied a bright wax crayon design and then painted over the top of this with black paint. Today, they designed their Olympic Pictogram stencil and scratched off the black paint to reveal their fabulous designs.
I think you will all agree that the children have done and AMAZING job!
