IMPORTANT CHANGE OF DATE
The INSET day planned for Friday March 30th will have to be rearranged as the external trainer can no longer make this date.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will advise you of the new date as soon as we can.
To baby Vanner! Sarah and Ian’s son was born on Wednesday 18th and weighed in at 8lbs 9oz - congratulations to the Vanner family - we look forward to meeting the newest member!
To Lynda Croome for her kind £500 donation from the “Libby Croome Happyness fund”. We have received a further £500
donation from the Yorkshire Bank, thanks to Sue Egar. We will be using this funding to make improvements to the outside playing area and equipment. We are working with the children to find out more about their own ideas.
I am thrilled to report that Kim Armstrong will be leading a Chess club on Monday lunchtimes. You will know that we have wanted to run this club for some time so this is great news! We will advise the children of the start date. Any other parents who would like to share any skills/ interests are encouraged to offer their services!
FIRE ALARM WORKS
Thank you for your cooperation during the works - they are progressing well and should be completed by half term.
The children have told me they are particularly pleased that our new system means that those having sandwiches in each class eat at the same time as those having school dinner – this means friends can eat together!
