Paul is enjoying his paternity leave and will be back on Monday 18 November, in the interim, Y5 will be ably taught by Sam Haywood and Flick Hatton.

I am proud to say that a number of our Robin Hood marathon runners have been nominated for awards at the prize giving event on 7th November – well done to Isla, Francesca and Megan and all who took part!

We have had further success in the Newark area Cross Country event too with the girls coming 2nd and 3rd in the Y3/4 and Y5/6 team events and the boys 1st and 4th!

We have two runners from Abbey Gates who will be taking part in the County Championships in February - well done Olly and Verity! This is a real achievement for us as we have been represented in this event for over 20 years - WOW!

We send our best wishes for a speedy recovery to Natalie Thomson our running coach, hope your foot mends soon - ouch!

Please send your children with warm clothing for playtimes… Autumn is definitely here!
