READ ALL ABOUT IT!
Thank you so much for supporting World Book Day. What a great day we had celebrating the range of learning, based on our whole school topic “The Day the Crayons Quit”. Learning in F1 up to Y6 involved problem solving, conflict resolution, compromise and understanding others’ points of view.
LITTLE MR RICH!
We are thrilled to announce that Gareth Rich and his partner Niki will be welcoming a new member to the family. Baby Rich is expected in May – look out for news!
Another exciting event in May is the annual PTA May Ball. Tickets and /or information are available through the school office, PTA email address firstname.lastname@example.org or the PTA Facebook page.
Maybe you haven’t been before- it’s a night of good food, good fun and good company. Maybe your child is in Y6 and it’s your last opportunity- don’t miss it!
You don’t need to come with a large group so don’t worry if it’s just one, two or more tickets you need.
As you know mobile phones are not allowed in school. A number of children are wearing smart watches, we encourage watches but smart watches should not be worn at school please. If your child forgets to leave theirs at home we will look after it in the school office.
Annie Slater, our super F1 teacher will be leaving at the end of the Spring term to take up her new role in a large Foundation Unit at another school. Annie has covered Keeley Bowell’s maternity leave admirably and she leaves with our thanks and very best wishes.
Rachel Hallam and Keeley Bowell will teach in F1 from the start of the summer term.
